Easter

Carsen and I had the best time making cookies and dying easter eggs.  This is the first year he actually let me hand over hand the whole works! It was awesome!!  I was loving finishing a task with him that he was actually involved in!  He made THREE precious cookies and I was so proud of them! They even tasted better!

He doesn't look thrilled, but I could tell her enjoyed some mom time.

Jace's first Easter and loving the colors!

Our finished product!

Jace finds the eggs!

And Carsen is in heaven....

I love their expressions here

Easter Sunday we wen to church with Matt's parents.  We were so proud of the way Carsen responded to all the kids.  The kids were even comfortable enough to walk Carsen around even when they were his size.  It is nice to be with family...still waiting for Spring to come though!

Jace 6 months

I am so in love with this little guy! He has turned into a strong willed chub!  He is so solid but oh so cute.  His friendly, smiley personality is so adorable!  He is now a very good sitter and is starting to get up to all fours, with a lot of effort and time. He loves to blow raspberries and babble on.  His best friend is Carsen and thinks his daddy is super funny!  He still loves to jump in the jumpy...he just gets higher and faster and when Carsen scoots up to him...he gets really excited!  Loves to eat small pieces of bread or crackers.  He is such a good chewer and it is crazy to me how that just comes so naturally!

Jace 5 months

Jace has become quite the little boy! Loves to screech when trying to talk! Always has a smile on his face.  Gets really excited when I come into the room.  Giggles a deep belly laugh when around kids and absolutely love his big brother.  Carsen is loving having Jace around and is obsessed with touching his face and putting his lips up to Jaces head.  They are Carsen kisses, I believe.  Lots of drool, wet shirts, chewing on toys and fingers.  Loves to eat solid food and doesn't really like the bottle much anymore.  Loves to jump, read books and watch tv.  Rolling from front to back and back to front, getting upset when on his belly for too long.  Such a joy in my life right now!

At 5 1/2 months he started blowing raspberries...cutest thing ever to watch!
