Rain, Rain, Go Away!

Spring means rain, but after three days, I am having a hard time finding things to do inside!

Jace and I  watched the rain while Carsen enjoyed a LONG rainy day nap.

Forecast, Sunshine tomorrow!

7 Months

Jace has learned to crawl!  We have our first crawler in the house which is so exciting!  He gets super mad when he gets stuck on the hardwood floor because it hurts his knees.  He is starting to learn that he can crawl up on my lap and can get to Carsen.  It is still slow crawling and takes a lot of effort.  His first tooth popped through!  I think that first one is always the worst!  Jace loves to click his tongue on the top of his mouth over and over again.  He eats small bites of yogurt bites, bananas, crackers or bread.

Learning to pull up to stand in just a few days after learning to crawl!  Hooray!

These two will play with each other for a very long time!  Jace crawls all over Carsen, and gets pushed around by bigger brother.  Although, in a split second, Carsen is right back over to Jace giving him slobbery kisses and hugs! They can't get enough of each other...a mother's dream!

Jace's personality is starting to come out.  He likes to be silly and find anyone in sight.  He loves people, especially if they make him laugh!

He is constantly crawling up onto ANYTHING!!  I see this sight over and over again in a day and always welcome him into my lap!

Runny noses and a little boy who doesn't want to sit for long....this is the best I could do!

All over the place and loving life!

Being silly...loves to see himself!

Peek a boo mom!

All smiles!

So blessed to have his cheerful smile in our life!

Dedication

We dedicated Jace to the Lord with a really nice ceremony.  He fell asleep while he was being dedicated.  We were blessed to have my family there to support us and to spend the afternoon with!

                                              Mark 9:36–37
Then he put a little child among them. Taking the child in his arms, he said to them,
"Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf welcomes me,

and anyone who welcomes me welcomes not only me but also my Father who sent me."

My five loves...

School days

This is Carsen's last week of Preschool! I am so nervous to keep him home this Summer because he just LOVES school!! We plan on going to the pool and lake a lot to keep him busy and occupied!  Jace hates to see him go, and loves to see him come back from school.  Had to snap a picture of them together this morning.  Although Carsen doesn't look happy, he was so excited.  Matt dropped him off and said that Carsen could barely handle when he got to see Meghan and the kids!  Life is so good at school!

Spring is here!

We went to the park...in shorts...it was perfect.  At one point Katie said, "This is the best day ever!" And she meant it.  It felt so good to be outside, just playing with the kids.  I think I will wish many times for that day back because it just felt so good.  I am not sure sometime why Katie and I live 3 hours away from each other.  Who knows!  But, it sure was fun to just relax!

Ethan loved the park, while Carsen is still learning to go down the slide.

These four actually sat there and played like this...we looked like really good moms, with really good kids!

Jace's first spring...I keep telling him what spring is suppose to be like, the smells, the sounds and the darn snow is suppose to have been gone a long time ago!

He loved to crawl off the blanket!

Hey ma!

Goof ball!

He is a mini me!

We didn't plan their outfits...really...

Jace does this a lot with his fingers...It cracks us up...not sure what it means!

Tummy time in the grass...Jace loved to get his fingers dirty and eat leaves while Grayson was content to play with his toys.

Talking about our slide technique...

I love helping him learn to do new things...but every spring it gets harder to re-teach the slide.  We enjoy going down anyway!

We finished our weekend with Jace's baby dedication, some much needed family time with the Lussenden crew, ice cream dessert, ski loader rides for the boys and a long Sunday nap.  Its nice to finally have Spring!
